Basic IT skills
Suitable for anyone (over 50) who has not yet got to grips with the internet but wants to, our Using the Internet (Over 50s) course will help you get online as you learn how to use social media and other practical websites. You can also discover the basic functions and uses of Microsoft packages in our Introduction to IT course.
Specialist Skills
Learn how to manipulate digital photographs in MS Word, enabling you to create leaflets, posters and articles in our six week ICT Digital Pictures course.
Careers in Computing & ICT
If you’re looking to take your skills to the next level the Access to HE Diploma – Computing gives you the qualification to access computing related degree courses. Access courses can be paid for using an Advanced Learner Loan. View our Access courses

Career Advice & Guidance
As an adult learner you’ll have access to the careers and university resources and you can also access course and careers advice and guidance through our Student Information Centre. You tutor will also discuss careers options and applications with you.
