YMCA Sefton The YMCA Sefton Nursery has built a close relationship with Compete & Southport College and we have had many successful work placement students plus several excellent apprentices. The Assessors come from the College and support both the students and the nursery so that we work together to develop confident, experienced early years practitioners. Apprentices are an important part of our business, bringing with them a range of skills, and we are proud that two apprentices and one placement student have been employed by us after they have gained their qualification and proved a real asset to the setting.

Fletchers Solicitors Fletchers have a strong relationship with Southport College / Compete and we have worked together on various opportunities, such as trialling a new online learning initiative and creating opportunities for college graduates looking for Apprenticeships and qualifications, in areas from AAT to Business Administration and Management. This is the our first open evening of the academic year and is the perfect way to discover all about us and find the right course for you. Whether you are an adult looking to retrain or upskill, a school leaver looking for a 2026 course or year 9 or 10 student keen to plan early, you are all very welcome and we would be delighted to see you. There's free parking and complimentary refreshments too.
