Southport College wins gold two years in a row at Harrogate Flower Show

As well as winning the Gold Award for the floral exhibition in College category, we also were awarded the 'Best In The Show'. Following the theme of 'All the Fun of the Fair', our exhibition included a makeshift puppet show and helter skelter, carefully crafted with a selection of colour flowers and assembled through a series of intricate techniques.

The Harrogate Flower Show is an annual celebration of floristry and horticulture which draws in tens of thousands of visitors a year. Lasting an entire weekend, it is filled to the brim with exciting floral displays, exhibitions, demonstrations, and shopping opportunities. We were honoured to have been selected to attend once again to celebrate all things gardening and showcase our brilliant floristry department.

We are so proud of floristry teacher Jane Robbins and our students who continue to represent our college with pride and showcase their fantastic floristry skills. Roll on Southport Flower Show 2026!
