The afternoon was dedicated to celebrating the relationship between Southport Education Group and our employer partners, who we work closely with to provide high quality apprenticeships, T-Level placements, and work experience for our student body.
These forward thinking, local companies aren’t just offering placements, but they are actively shaping the futures of students and the economy. By providing essential work experience, they help increase the confidence of young people in our area and become sources of inspiration for the next generation of workers.
The Employer Awards was a chance to express our gratitude to all of our employer partners. We look forward to continuing to work in close partnership with them for years to come and furthering a positive impact on our students on their career prospects.
Hosted by Principal Michelle Brabner and Spark Radio’s Andy Hilbert, our guests were treated to a fantastic event set up from ex-student Scott, owner of Moonlight Events LTD, and a stand-out afternoon tea provided by local caterer and cafe Houghton Coffee Lounge.
